Note: Inside antennas / "rabbit-ears"/ attic antenna do NOT work well unless you are close to the transmitting facility. All facilities are "LOW POWER" meaning that the transmitters / translators operate at low broadcast power compared to full power stations located in Seattle, Spokane, Tri-Cities and Yakima. Full power stations transmit at several thousand watts while low power stations transmit at several hundred watts so that they don't interfere with other low power stations and full power stations. For best reception, the receive antenna should be of an outdoor type with a antenna pre-amplifier. All of our primary translators / transmitters are fed with a studio quality microwave or satellite feed just as the primary stations.
